I'm so sorry to hear that but the same thing happen to me.lm what you call a bookie, I speak nursing language everything I do on a daily basis involves nursing.Im so scared with tears in my eyes.Nursing is not just a job for me but I strongly believe it's my calling, my hubby is reading med surg books .I know that seems weird but we have one more try and with God all is possible
Can you pinpoint any areas of weakness? Like "I need to figure out a better way to look at the select-all-that-apply questions"?
Have you contacted any of the Excelsior instructors for help? They won't give out the answers, but they can point out different ways of thinking about the questions.
Maybe taking both courses at the same time was your problem, and now that you just have the one course going, you can focus just on that. Remember, you passed the first part of the FCCA! You can pass the second part too!
Have you downloaded the studyguide101 material? It has both the FCCA course AND some CPNE prep material and might be helpful. There are quite a few practice quizzes as well.
Please don't stress yourself further by thinking you are now two months "behind". You are where you are, and while that's not exactly where you thought you would be, you can't change that now. Focus on the second part and try not to stress too much (easy for me to say, I know).
I am sorry. I failed the first one this month also. I am about to take it again. I totally understand the anxiety that comes with knowing that you have only so many attempts. I failed it 41/60 also. Only by 1 point. I got the summary and will restudy everything, especially the part that I failed. If you would like to have study partner, give me your email address. Good Luck
Tammy
Hi Tammy, did you register for the on going FCCA, I registered the day of the deadline but they have me starting January thru March, I am flabbergasted to say the least. I was like, no way, not another 5 months wait before cpne. I am very disappointed, I asked and was told that 12pm was the cutoff time on that day, no one told me that when I spoke to the advisor. I have written to appeal this, asking to see if there's anything I can do to still join this ongoing class.
Hi Tammy, my email address is [email protected], we can definitely benefit from studying together, thanks!!

Hi there, I just failed the 2nd part if the FCCA again, I initially failed both exams in August, I retook the assessment part and passed, but I failed the 2nd part on Friday, I got 41/60, same as my first attempt, I was mortified to say the least, I had studied really hard and was certain I was choosing the right answers but I guess not, I contacted the school right away to see if partial credit can be given or something, they said "no" this was my last step before cpne, I was so sure that am cpne bound but am 2 months behind now. I am really scared and worry that I might fail again on my third attempt, I received the summary of my attempt on the first one I failed but wasn't really sure where I went wrong. I wish there was a traditional or any other nursing program that can accept all my credits so I won't have to go through this scare and failure anymore. Has anyone ever received credit on a question on FCCA ever?
