I know the information is on here somewhere but I can't find it now I want it!!

I have my ATT (at long last). How long do you have to sit the NCLEX after registering with pearsonvue?

there is a validity period for the ATT. mostly its 90 days only. between this period you will have to take the NCLEX, if you wont you will have to repay and register with pearsons again. you can find it thru the ATT they sent to you.it says, TEST VALIDITY.

I have recieved my letter from the NYSED to say that I can sit the exam but I havn't yet registered with pearson veu. that is my next step - just wanted to make sure how much revision time I had. :uhoh3:

once a candidate is made eligible he/she must test within the validity dates printed on the ATT. The 12 months I mentioned is the time peroid for which a BON may determine the candidate's eligibilty I thnk from registering with pearson hence waiting until getting ATT before registering with them so if you have to retake NCLEX you are still eligible

1. If you have not registered with Pearson-Vue, then you do not have the ATT. The Authority to Test is the letter that is required for actual admission to the exam site. It is sent by Pearson-Vue after you have paid the fee, and they have received an okay from the BON to release it.

2. What you have is a letter telling you that you have had all of your credentials approved for licensure in NY, pending outcome of your NCLEX exam. Two different letters.

3. NY is usually one year from the time that you recieve the letter to take the test, and Pearson-Vue gives you a 90 day window to test in for most states, or you forfeit the fee.

Best bet is to read what is stated in your letter, it gives a cut-off date for testing.

Greetings to all!

I just got my eligibility from CA-BON. I know the next step is registering for PEARSONS Vue to get my ATT. My concern now is, is there a way where I could know the availability of the schedule without calling first Australia? I heard that its already fully book here in the PI. I wanna save money also because its expensive to have overseas call. I am thinking to take the exam between HK or PI. Pls help and would appreciate any advise. TNX!

You can view the schedule once you have the ATT, you do not have access to it until you have the ATT. There is no way of knowing the schedule in advance until you are ready to book it.
