Excelsior Graduation Update

Published

I just received a letter from Excelsior stating that I filled all my requirements for graduation. They said it will take 4-6 weeks to send me a graduation packet and for me to pay my fee. Does it take that long? I want to payy fee, so that I can sit for the boards. I can call them on Monday, but getting anxious .

I just wanted to let you know that if you long into your MyExcelsior page you can find out what your conferral date is going to be. When you are logged in click on Graduation & Beyond, then on the left-hand side underpreparing for graduation there is the subheading processing parameters fro graduation, and then click on review the monthly conferral schedule.

* I put the directions just in case the link didn't work.* You can see what date you passed your CPNE and other items and it will tell you what your conferral date will be. Hope that helps.

so, does this mean that you can't work as a graduate nurse or anything until you graduate?

Depends on your state and when they are willing to issue you the temporary permit and allow you to take the nclex and everything.

Thanx I found it.
