Exam Cram?

Hi guys,

Has anyone used "Exam Cram" (I think by Pearson) as a supplement to Saunders to study for the NCLEX? PN or RN....If so, did it help? was it worthwhile? Would you recommend someone to practice on those questions?

Thanks in advance!

I wanted to find this out myself. I want too use it as a source also.

i'm using exam cram as one of the resources also. but can't tell it's usefulness until i get over with the nclex and pass.

Same here, but I don't want to overwhelm myself!!!!!!!!!

I used Exam Cram a little bit when studying for my second time taking the NCLEX (I passed!), I particularly liked the CD that came with the book. It' s worth a try. I really don't think any one source prepares you for the actual test. I also used Saunders for content review and did the quizzes at the end of every chapter like Suzanne recommends. I did not have the time to complete her program tho. I used Kaplan for a second time too. Honestly, I think it is the luck of the draw as far as what type of test you get and if you are fortunate enough to get questions that make some sort of sense to you. Good luck!!

Thanks for the response Sprkl...I think you helped all three of us out. We all seemed to be in a jam. :( But good luck to us all!! NCLEX here we come!

I used it with various other books to prepare for the Nclex my second time around. It gives great study tips and things to remember. I liked it.
