Ethics 1300 - 15 weeks

Published

Hi,

Anyone taking this class? I am taking it along with Comp. I hate the fact that I am taking 2-15 week classes!!! I have 2 classes to go after this. Then DONE DONE DONE with BSN

Linda

I'm here with you. I'm doing stats and Ethics, then a nursing class and finally music. I wish all the work for the entire week was posted earlier so I could plan a little better but it's more my problem than the class. I'm getting the feeling the tests will be due early in the week with the discussion question posted on Wednesday and due by Friday.

The non-nursing classes seem so much more organized. I have enjoyed them more than the other classes and feel I walk away and have learned something new. Maybe that's because I'm an old nurse who needs to broaden her horizons ;-)

I have like these classes too. I just don't like the new 15 week format. I have taken 3 of my other electives at Western Oklahoma University. They are 10 days intersession classes and cost about $385. I am also taking PRCM 325...junior comp. That class has all the modules open and I am able to work ahead. I wish this class was the same. BTW, I'm also an old nurse ;)

I took cultural anthropology at WOSC this summer. It was rather intense. Most of my classmates were athletes trying to boost their GPA to become or stay academically eligible. Wrong class in my opinion to do that but then again, they may have had the summer off and not been working full time.

Which classes did you take at WOSC? You can PM me if you'd like. I still need the child psychology or development class and haven't been able to fit it into my schedule yet.

Not taking this class but would love to hear about the courses you took at Western Oklhoma U. I am paying out of pocket and it is killing me. $385 sounds pretty good for a course. I am an old timer, I am closing in on a new decade, won't say which but one could probably figure it out. I am afraid I will be using a walker when I get done.

Winter Intersession HOME - Western Oklahoma State College | Altus, OK

Here is a link to the winter intersession classes (three are 3 sessions in the winter). You can only take 9 credits (3 classes) without submitting an official application and can only take one class at a time. I took Art, Nutrition and Into to Sociology. I never felt like I couldn't do it. The online class was easy to navigate. I called my advisor at OU to check out the classes before I took them. 10 days classes were the way to go.

Anyone understand the discussion board question this week?

Hey linda93! If they don't have their act together by January and start the 5 week junior comp, I may have to do the 15 week version. How are you finding the work load so far?? I would be overlapping it with a nursing class for 10 of the 15 weeks.

Michelemybell,

The junior comp class I have signed on for is only 7 weeks long. It starts in November.

EmJean, where did you find this class?! I need it.

It was on the list of classes for the fall. Maybe full now! But, I think it will be that way in the spring as well.
