I'm graduating from nursing school in a month. After an initial interview for an emergency room position, I have been asked to come for a SHARE day. Does anyone have any suggestions or helpful tips for what to expect or what to be prepared for? Thanks!

What is a share day? I've never heard of it LOL (reminds me of show-and-tell)
Haha, it does sound like that. I would shadow someone in the ED for a few hours.

Ask the person you are shadowing, "When do I get to do some stethascoping?"
Oh that does sound good. :) Have fun!

This is funny to me..."Share day"...what would they gain from "sharing" with you?...make sure you aren't scared away before you apply? Please tell us how it goes and what they do.
Shadowing I have heard about but not "sharing"...and when we've had people shadow they are usually Med students or high school students not potential hires...usually if you want to work in the ED you have an idea what it's like.

Maybe "share" sounds more happy/positive than "shadow." LOL
