Epocretes

Does anyone use Epocretes? Is it worth the money?

There is a free version available - go to Epocrates.com

I have the free version, but it is very limited...so I was wondering about the full version...

I have Epocrates for 2 years now. I have the version with dx, labs, symptoms. I find it very useful, it keeps me up to date on medications, disease processes, new treatments. What I find very useful is checking for interactions between a pt's many meds.

It would take me a very long time to look up each medication and see if it interacts with other meds the pt is on. Well worth the money, if you are receiving CE money from your employer, use some of it for the Epocrates. You can also claim the Epocrates as an expense on income tax.

Wow, that is good to know about the claiming on income taxes. I wouldn't have remembered that! Thanks!!
