EPIC EHR Practice Question

I am new to using EPIC and having a difficult time learning the interface. Is there anyway to download the "PLAY" version of EPIC onto your home desktop or laptop to practice charting?

You should reach out to your manager/educator/EHR trainer. Most likely the answer will be no for 2 reasons:

An Epic software license would be required

Your facility likely customizes quite bit within Epic- your facility's specific training environment will mirror your actual environment, which is what you'd want to practice in rather than a generic format that doesn't include your facility's specifics.

your organization should be able to give you access to intranet to go to the "playground"

I needed real time charting to get good at it.
