I've heard there are programs out there that include a year of prereqs with them for people with bachelor's in other fields. Does anyone know where these programs are available? It seems like a nightmare trying to figure out which classes to take and how to fit them all nicely into a schedule so I won't be taking pre-reqs for 2 years... specifically in the bay area would be nice...

Go to your state's Board of Nursing website - or google your state's name and "nursing schools" - you'll find lists of which schools offer what programs, and then you can go to their websites and see what the prereqs are.
It's, at most, a half-hour search.

Here is a listing from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) with the nearly 300 Accelerated BSN or MSN programs. This list is broken down state by state.

These programs admit those with undergraduate degrees in non-nursing areas, and lead to a BSN or MSN. Each school has different prerequisites, so check the schools individually
