Hi all! I am from the Dearborn area and I plan to apply to EMU's program for Fall 07. I have searched this forum and have not been able to find anything about Eastern's program. If anyone is currently in or has graduated from this program I would love to hear any comments or advice! Thanks in advance!

No one has any info on EMU?

I know someone that graduated from there last year, she is working in a local hospital. I personally transferred over there last semester and hated it. I went back to my local CC and am awaiting my acceptance letter for the fall of 06 program. EMU had me graduating in 2010, even though I had already 50 credits. Their professors leave a lot to be desired and the majority of the students were very young, 18,19 year old range and partied all night every night. It was not for me, being that I am a non traditional student and 40 years old. I liked the atmosphere of the cc much better, because of the professor's and the older students. Good luck to you.

go to their main website: http://www.emich.edu/nursing/index.html

hope this works.

if you have any questions, just email me!

Are you going for the traditional BSN or the 2nd degree program?

I am a second degree student and I recieved my 1st degree from there. I went to check out their 2nd degree BSN, but they had too many pre-req's for my taste. I was on a better road where I was. However, they do have a good reputation....and the I definitely have fond memories from going there:)

Good luck to you!

Edit: I just realized the OP was from last summer (06').....well, I hope things worked out for you;)
