Emory Fall 09

Is anyone applying or have applied to Emory for the Fall 09 Semester. I have read in other threads from a couple of years ago that if you apply in November that you can here if you are accepted in January. Is that true? I have applied for the second degree program.

I applied at the beginning of December and my last document was submitted in the beginning of January. I feel like I have been waiting forever! :heartbeat I hope we all hear something soon!

I also checked opus and I have been assigned an e-mail address too. I hope its a good sign.

I also checked and i have a few things on my to do list. Like what other prereqs left to take as well as some financial aid documents needed. I don't know if this is good news or not. I have also received an e-mail asking me to fill the schlarship forms

I got the email about scholarship forms and have things on my to do list as well, but no campus email :(

odooma,

Did you apply to the BSN/MSN program?

I also notice the financial aid and prereq list in my account. The Emory site says that the admissions committee meets twice a month so they will be sending out decisions on a rolling basis.

I applied in January so I don't expect to hear anything until March or April.

Dohzenoff-

No email address for me either. You just got into Columbia right? Congrats!

Yeah, thanks Jalin! Fancy seeing you in this thread too haha. Where else did you apply?

I applied to just the BSN program. I am obsessed, just checking OPUS everyday at least twice.

congrats.

I applied to Hopkins but was rejected. Waiting to hear from Emory, Georgetown, Columbia and a few local programs in Boston.

I am not feeling very confident about my chances. I didn't realize it would be so competitive. I also know that I am hearing back from some of the most competitive programs first which has not helped in boosting my self esteem at this point.

hang in there. you will hear something soon

I haven't gotten a campus email address yet, but I do have a to-do list with the two classes I need to take (which I'm currently enrolled in). I also got the scholarship email. I hope this is only because at the info session last fall, they said that BSN acceptances will be mailed out on 2/15 and segue acceptances will be mailed out on 3/15, and not because i didn't get in.... Those of you that have campus email address and requests for financial aid documents, did you apply for the BSN or the BSN/MSN? Maybe that makes a difference...
