Hi Everyone,
I am looking for information on the accelerated NP Emory program from students, professors, applicants, competitors, etc. I want to know the ins-and-outs of the application process. I have taken a tour of the campus, met with a professor, and talked to one of the PA admission guys, but I am still seeking some answers to what I can do to help me get in. I'm a biology major at Georgia College planning to graduate May 2018 and then take a gap year. Are there certain thins I should do during my gap year? Things I could do now? Also, what kinds of things helped current students get in? I have been told to make sure I reach out to people at the school and be involved in things with Emory because they want to see that I know Emory is my "perfect match". I sped up my college experience by condensing the four years worth of classes into 3 years, which I think I can use to my advantage in the application process seeing that I have been doing an "accelerated" mode of study and survived it. I am looking into doing the Midwifery + Womens health dual degree program. Please let me know anything that might be helpful or interesting about the Emory program. It is much appreciated!
