Eligibility validity

Help everyone, please am a Canadian nursing graduate. I got a email from CNO last November that am eligible to write the nclex and that I should go ahead and register with NSBN. But due to my pregnancy I couldn't register ad now I had a baby about 4months old but still not getting time to study, so I want to give myself more time to study before registering with Pearson. So my question is will I still bre eligible to write it by 2016 or am I going to loose my eligibility. Is there any validity period if you are told you are eligible. Am scared to and confused. I have emailed Pearson but no reply yet. Is there anyone with such experience? Please help.

That's a question for the Canadian nursing board. Pearson will let you register as long as your board says it's ok.

Try writing to your board of nursing. My wife had an ectopic pregnancy during the month she was supposed to take her NCLEX and the board was ready to extend eligibility. She just needed to re-register again to get new ATT.

Thanks guys for your inputs. I appreciate. I called them and they said I can register with Pearson anytime am ready but because it is up to 2years I left school that I will not practice even if I pass the Nclex rn untill I do a remedial course in one of the colleges. This is my plight guys. Once more thank you all.
