I received my eligibility already, would my att automatically follow after 2-4 weeks?
pay pearsonvue $200, if you give them your email address, all the correspondence will be via email. once paid, your ATT will be issued within half an hour or two via email. you just need to print it out. if you didnt give any email address, ATT normally comes within 2 weeks depending on how fast the mailing system works in your place. god luck to yah...

Hey guys, what is the time-frame for which I can apply for ATT via Pearsonvue from the day that I receive my eligibility to take the exam? I am not in a hurry to take the nclex anyway, and I still haven't had enough funds to pay 350usd through Pearson. I know that for Cali-BON the validity for the ATT is 1 year, but what if I don't apply for the ATT just yet? Is that ok? Thanks!!

hi!...once you registered with PearsonVue, that is paid the US$200 fee, your ATT will be sent via email (if you provide them one)...or else, you have to wait weeks before you receive it via snail mail...even Cali-BON ATT is valid for 1 year, i suggest that do register with pearson now...the latest available sked for HK is May 13,19,21,22,26,28 and 30 (as of 12nn today, MNL time)...you still have 3 months if you study full-time...then, you can always resked it if you feel that you need more time...but, dont wait until the ATT expiry to resked the exam...you never know what will come up (like typhoon)...
Hi Thanks for the reply.. Yep I am planning to register with Pearson using credit card, but I was hoping I can take the exam within the last quarter of this year since I don't have the funds to pay for the credit card bills as of this time. My Cali application for NCLEX was received by Cali's BON last December 18th, so I'm probably going to receive my eligibility this April (if I get lucky..) I am starting a non-nursing job this month to be able to pay for the upcoming credit card bills so I am really not in a hurry.
What if I do get eligible but I still don't want to register with Pearsonvue? Is there an expiry for eligibility as well, or does the 1-year validity only apply with the ATT?
Thanks again!

Hi dzzy21RN!...all eligibilities are valid for 1 year...it means that you have 1 year to sked and sit for the exam...on the other hand, ATT validity depends on the BON that you applied licensure for...some gives applicants only 3months to sit for the exam...others, 6mos or even 1 year (like California BON)...so, in short, both eligibility and ATT for California has 1 year validity...
Yes, you can defer registering with PearsonVue even after you receive the eligibility from Cali BON...but you have to register with them before your eligibility expires or else, you have to reapply (another $107)...once you have enough funds to sustain you for the whole process, that is, pearson reg. fee of $200, (+ $150 if HK test site), travel pkg (HK costs roughly $350 while Saipan pkg costs $650), pocketmoney AND you are almost prepared to take the exam, i suggest do register....even after registering and receipt of your ATT, you have another 1 year to sit for the exam...

Thanks so much for the info! I'll just wait for my eligibility and then see when I can take the exam..at least now it's clearer.. Have a good one!
