  1. Hey guys..to those who already have underwent the exams/interview.. what is the best time to go to Cathedral Hts to pass your credentials? ( 9am? or are they still accommodating applicants even after lunch? ) Will the initial exam and interview be done at the same day you go there? Thanks! :)
  2. Hello! What are VRP's requirements for application? Are they requiring BLS/IVT?
  3. Thanks so much for the info! I'll just wait for my eligibility and then see when I can take the exam..at least now it's clearer.. Have a good one!
  4. Hi Thanks for the reply.. Yep I am planning to register with Pearson using credit card, but I was hoping I can take the exam within the last quarter of this year since I don't have the funds to pay for the credit card bills as of this time. My Cali application for NCLEX was received by Cali's BON last December 18th, so I'm probably going to receive my eligibility this April (if I get lucky..) I am starting a non-nursing job this month to be able to pay for the upcoming credit card bills so I am really not in a hurry. What if I do get eligible but I still don't want to register with Pearsonvue? Is there an expiry for eligibility as well, or does the 1-year validity only apply with the ATT? Thanks again!
  5. Hey guys, what is the time-frame for which I can apply for ATT via Pearsonvue from the day that I receive my eligibility to take the exam? I am not in a hurry to take the nclex anyway, and I still haven't had enough funds to pay 350usd through Pearson. I know that for Cali-BON the validity for the ATT is 1 year, but what if I don't apply for the ATT just yet? Is that ok? Thanks!!
  6. wow thanks ANN-RN.. I can't imagine paying for training which will not be recognized anyway by US hospitals..I was THIS close to dropping my resume in the pigeon hole!! I mean if it's not really necessary anyway I think I may just skip the experience here in the PI and just go through the new grad RN programs that some US hospitals are offering. It's unbelievable how much money nurses spend just to get experience and more unbelievable how hospitals make out of this opportunity.. oh well as some people will say.. WAYGD?? (what r u gn do?) BTW those 2 June 06 passers are lucky! and this was direct hiring right? Good God I wish I knew that they were coming to the PI I could have been there and I could bring some friends!! Please message me for upcoming events like these.. thanks!!
  7. Hi guys.. I heard that St. Lukes charges a certain amount (P4000..?) for their 2 month pre-employment training, and afterwards if you wish to work as staff they will have you undergo their qualifying exam and panel interview. Is this true? Has anyone experienced this? And how good is the training? For De Los Santos Hosp, do they only give training with a fee or are they hiring as well? It's just so hard to look for a job in hospitals when all they do is ask for "training fees".. how are we expected to make a living if we have to pay to get work experience? Thanks to anyone who can help.
