El Centro Fall 2011 program

did they say they would send a new email, is that what they normally do?? I have no clue what to expect anymore....none of this appears very professional on el centro's part.

I called just a few minutes ago and they said the letters did go out on Friday.

Those of you that have checked your mail do y'all live in dallas area?

i'm an applicant for fall 2011 too and haven't heard anything or see anything in the mail today. this waiting process is stressing me way out! i even checked the usps.gov website to see how long it would take to receive something from downtown Dallas - to Dallas County (North Garland) and it looks as if it was mailed out Friday afternoon (went out Saturday morning) we might not see anything until WEDNESDAY!

That makes 3 of us!! I hoped to recieve the letter today since I live close to Downtown, but no luck!! I have about 16-17 points so Im hoping that will do!! I put in for both El Centro and Northlake. Did anyone esle put in for both schools, to better the chance?

I put in North Lake 1st and El Centro second. I have 16pts. I'm hoping to at least get one if not both extra points for having my CNA. But i wont hold my breath.

I read on a post last year that if you got in then you should get an email about background checks and drug testing around the same time as letters go out. I was wondering if anyone got any emails?......also have any of yall taken a computer course or tested out? i was looking at my degree plan or something like that and it said i hadnt tested out even though i took a computer course............

I have my CNA as well!! hopefully they give us both, Do you work in the health field? I have not received anything on the bakground email either so I dont think they have sent those out yet.

I got my CNA and worked for a couple of weeks before apps were due. Or atleast the Feb. 28th due date. :/ wish i had know about the May 2nd date back then. I'm in Ark. right now working for a Doctor's office and I also became a phlebotomist. What about you?
