  1. you're late? what was the deadline? If you mailed it after the deadline they will not accept it. If you mailed it before the deadline and it's post marked before the deadline, then you're safe. The safest bet would have been to send it certified, return receipt - that way you can have a guarantee in your hand that it was sent and received.
  2. I just finished scanning what I have and let her know that I'm still waiting on the return of the fingerprinting card. Did you happen to receive yours in today's mail? My mailman is late - and again always on days when it counts. Never fails!
  3. FutureNurs, where did you get yours done? I went to the one off of RL Thortnon. I called the Board of Nursing and they said they mailed it back on Friday. So I'm hoping it's in my mailbox today. Beamom, I had 16 solid points, but may have had 17 or 18 if they considered my short stint working in a Hospital.
  4. when you finish taking your hesi and go back to the window to return pencil, scratch sheets, etc... they give you a stamped official copy. make copies of those then include the original in your packet.
  5. thank you Pedi20! I wonder what the delay is then... I fingerprinted on August 5, and here we are on the 15th. I better make some follow up calls somewhere....somewhere being the Board of Nursing?? - I think. Oh well, I'll figure it out.
  6. Hi, does anyone know the turn around time for the L1 fingerprinting and the Board of Nursing returning the blue card? I was out of town all summer and waited until Aug 5th to do the fingerprinting. I'm hoping I can get the card back by Friday. How long did it take for those of you that have received the card back already?
  7. hi beamom, I did get in with 16 points, but as you said before depends on number of applicants - and another very important thing. A complete and accurately put together packet. If you submitted it already it may be too late to check - you have to be sure everything is in there, all the forms are signed and every signature and date is filled. Good luck!
  8. congratulations! my mailman is late!
  9. ok prenurses... it's Tuesday and my mail doesn't get here until noon! Is it considered stalking if you follow the mailman on his route until he gets to my house?
  10. i'm just glad to hear that i am not in this alone. Good Luck!
  11. i'm an applicant for fall 2011 too and haven't heard anything or see anything in the mail today. this waiting process is stressing me way out! i even checked the usps.gov website to see how long it would take to receive something from downtown Dallas - to Dallas County (North Garland) and it looks as if it was mailed out Friday afternoon (went out Saturday morning) we might not see anything until WEDNESDAY!
  12. what do you mean, "cooking with chicken" - i've never heard of that saying...LOL!
  13. i mean, seriously... letter were supposedly mailed may 20th from downtown dallas - i live in dallas county... shouldn't it just take a day! ugh!
  14. Has anyone received their letters yet?? My mail doesn't get here until noon... got my fingers crossed that it arrives today!
  15. Hi, I turned in my application for Fall 2011. I only had 16 points and I'm hoping that will be enough. I still have to take micro. How did you do on your Hesi? Did you get the 17 points you wanted?
