Does anyone know where in Northern VA, preferably in or very close to Prince William County I could take an EKG interpretation class?
Thanks

I would look at Northern Virginia Community college
Northern Virginia Community College
or maybe the American Heart Association
Thanks. NVCC no longer offers an EKG Interpretation class due to "lack of interest. They do offer an EKG Tech class, but not what I want.
I couldn't find anthing on American Heart's site, so I emailed them and they don't offer it, just what is included in ACLS, PALS, etc.
Sorry! If I hear of anything, I'll post it, but that's all I can think of right now.

Inova Learning Network has a "Basic ECG Interpretation for Nurses" class. It's 2.5 days. I'm not sure how it works for non-Inova employees (assuming you're a non-Inova employee), but there it is. :)
Thanks, I'll give them a call and see if there is a way for me to participate. Was it at a particular INOVA hospital?
I saw this one on Craig's List. Don't know if it's a good company, or not, but thought I'd share. http://www.doctorshelp.org/Workshop_Training.html

Hospital I work at uses this company: Apex Innovations :: Products
and the RN that taught it was AWESOME!!!! Not sure if they offer the courses to anyone, but its worthwhile to find out as they were great!!
What hospital are you at Flames9?
1 of them in the DC/VA area, lol Sorry, I keep that info private.
Sorry, didn't even think of that. Just trying to find a class.
I'm sure you could contact them and they wil tell ya if they give classes to non-hospital employees or they may be able to give you leads to companies that do give classes!
I do know that company is a separate entity from the hospital---they just contract the classes to them. and if ya do a google search for something along the lines of EKG, you can find some good sites. EKG interpretation made Incredibly easy,is a great book. ISBN #9781582553559 is a good book. Just saw it on half.com for $9.50 + shipping
