Anyone here in the Drexel NP programs? Do you like it? For the on campus programs, are any courses online or are they entirely on campus? Would I need to take the GRE?

The answers to these & other questions are available on the Drexel website.

I'm looking into the Drexel MSN program, mainly FNP. I asked if I could take core classes online and have them count toward the FNP and they said it's unlikely I will get permission.
Just FYI.

Hmmm Drexel online programs this may be a very late response but I just saw your post as I was searching. Drexel is a good school, however their online program is very intense. They have shortened the semester to quarters meaning that you have 10 weeks to complete course work, and clinicals. There is alot of work and the coordinator and Professor are very demeaning to the students. Many have dropped and registered to other schools because of the constant harrassment. I myself would have dropped but I am too far gone and would lose credits. I know it is the only online program but it is not worth the treatment and BS you have to go through. I count seven more months and I am done, it will be the toughest seven months of my life because officially last week I have become the next one to F*** with, wish me luck!!

I am considering Jefferson a lot more seriously now, mostly because it seems they allow you to take some courses online and some in the classroom. I want to start soon, but I am due to give birth this Saturday :omy: so we'll see when I get back to work and when I start school.
Thanks for the info and GOOD LUCK!

Jeff will allow you to take core courses which will count toward a number of MSN specialty programes as a non-matriculated student. I believe you can take 6 credits as a non-matriculated student there as long as you have a BSN. No GRE's required if GPA is above 3.2, if below 3.2 you may take the 2 courses as a non-matric. with a B or better, GRE waived. They offer both online and classroom courses. Good luck to you.
