Drexel ACE Fall 2010?

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone else has applied for Drexel's ACE program for fall 2010? My application was just completed and I'm very impatient! I check the status of my app online every single day! My first choice is Jefferson's FACT but I have a better chance of getting into Drexel. I'm a little nervous though because I don't see many good things about the ACE program on here

Not sure if it is by a letter or email, but I did recieve and email a while back with a pin that lets me check my registration status online.

Hopefully you will hear soon!

A friend just applied the first week in October - and received a response, but I think that was because she only had one pre req left to take and she could potentially attend in the spring. From the web page, there are still spring 2010 openings.

Her acceptance came about 10 days after applying with a 60 day window to accept or decline. Then, this week she received a letter with all but one of the pre-requisites checked off obviously indicating just one course left to complete.

The pin in email is how you can check the status of your application online.

Has anyone heard anything yet? Someone on a Thomas Jefferson thread said they have already been accepted.

I received an acceptance package in the mail from Drexel. I received an email from Jefferson and they said the packet was in the mail.

I checked my drexel account today with the Pin number and password from the application acknowledgement email. It said "congratulations!" and that an official acceptance letter is in the mail. I'm not sure if I got a response so early because I sent my application in pretty early (middle of Sept I think..), or if they just review and get them out pretty quickly.

So Drexel really messed with my head...I checked the status of my application online on Friday and it said I had been denied. I called to see what the reason was and when they called me back today they had said they did not know why I had seen a denied notification because I had been ACCEPTED! So Im happy I was accepted, but they really had me worried for a bit. MAke sure you follow up if you see a denied admissions decision online!!

That's odd. I checked my status Friday and it also said I was denied but when i went back on over the weekend and today it says "file under review". Maybe I should give them a call.

you should definitely do so...they said it had happened to a number of people and theyre not quite sure what went wrong.

I've been a lurker on these threads since the summer. I've decided to come out of hiding. Here is my first offical posting.

The day before halloween I received a provisional acceptance package from Drexel. I had worried myself nearly to death regarding the possibility of being rejected by all of the programs that I applied to (8 I believe). I'm awaiting on SUNY schools for financial reasons.

If I could offer anyone the slightest amount of advise during the application process - RELAX! I'm hoping I can sleep better now.

More importantly, stats!. Heres what everyone wants to know

B.S. Health Science 3.13 gpa from Stony Brook University.

A&P1 C+

CHEM1 B-

STAT B

Microbiology, nutrition, and sociolgy are currently in prograss at Nassau Communit College

Winterim - lifespan development

Spring - A&P 132 - I also plan on taking a pathophys and pharmacology class.

My point is simple. Clearly my gpa isn't great and I have several class still outstanding. My pre-reqs aren't great and I got in.

Once again, relax - and GL to you all

AMS- have you heard anything else from drexel? My online staus has not changed at all. I check multiple x's a day!
