Doula training

I teach high school health careers and have a student who is interested in becoming a doula. I would like to help guide her. Can anyone offer any suggestions for training? She was also curious about the income potential with this career.

Income potential is going to depend on the market and her experience (the more experience the more she can charge). There are various organizations with which she can choose to become certified, I trained with DONA but chose not to certify for both financial and personal reasons. She should look for local ICAN groups, as doulas usually have connections to those, and there are two or three national doula groups on Facebook, including one with an eye for the business end of things that all get ALOT of traffic
