I was oblivious to what was going around me while I was taking the test. They provided me with disposable ear plugs and I was in my own world, focused on the test. From the time I started the test until I finished, my eyes were glued to the computer monitor. The test center person could have been pacing behind me in a gorilla suit and I wouldn't have noticed.

I agree with a previous poster "Don't try to find ways to make youself more anxious".

This.

I opted to put the headphones on at the start of the test and I didn't take them off until the test shut off. If I needed to look away from the monitor, I looked at the wall just above the monitor. I had been warned ahead of time not to look anywhere else. World War III could have been going on behind me and I would have been utterly oblivious.
