Nov 19, 200916 yr I have a problem on my dosage calculations work that i cannot solve. Can someone help??Ancef 0.3g IV is ordered for your patient. Ancef is supplied 500mg for reconstitution. How much recostitution is required to make 250mg/ml?I think the question should be "Ancef 0.3g IV ordered, Ancef supplied 500mg for reconstitution at rate of 250 mg/ml. How many ml should be given?"So, 0.3g is 300mg, 500 mg in 2 ml, is 1.2 ml
