can any body help me choose an area of specialty, i do not have one in mind.

You don't say if you are a student or currently working as an RN. If you are a student the answer may become more clear to you as graduation approaches. You will have been introduced to several nursing areas as part of your clinicals.
As a student I never dreamed I would be interested in ER, but after doing a day of clinicals there I knew it was my "thing". If you are a student you have time to "discover" what you like.

although the website i've listed below is for nurses here in america, it will give you an idea of the many different specialties in nursing. if you click on each of the specialties another page comes up that gives you a description of that nursing practice along with other links to more information and any special professional nursing associations for that specialty.

If you are a student, you will find that one part of nursing that will call to you. There is no way for us to advise you since we have no idea what your interests are. When you experience the right "type" you will know.
