Done

Im finally done with the miserablejo monitoring program. It was awful in every way. I don't even have an addiction or substance use disorder.  I finished on time with no extra time bu doing exactly what they asked.  I was never late with anything, no positive tests.  My advice is if there's another comparable career do it.  If not just do all the stuff you're asked . Complain to people outside the program not their providers.  Your moo.  I checked in first thing every morning so I didn't forget.  I was super careful not to ingest anything that would cause a positive test

No extra or special tests at the end. Less tests each year.

Woohoo! Congratulations. It's such a feat

Congrats. 3 Questions.

1. What day did your monitoring end RELATED to the date you entered your program. For example, if you entered Feb 1 2021, exactly what day did you finish related to that date and when I write finish, when did you Stop Checking In?

2. How did you KNOW to stop checking in daily? Was it a phone call,l from case manager, an email, or a letter or simply waking up and checking in and your password not working?

3. From the day you stopped checking in, how long did it take to receive a letter in the mail from the BON saying your consent order is done/all is back to normal?

I ask these questions because everybody's experience varies some at the end and this would be helpful for others reading this forum in the future because they are regular questions people have. Congrats on finishing.

Exactly 3 years to the date. Ex feb 1 2023 to Feb 1 2026. I checked in on my last day  again ex feb 1. CM called and said I was done. I promptly deleted the application on my phone.

I need to check my mail. I was only reported to the monitoring program.  I never had a consent order. The biggest reason I didn't fight this was that no one will ever know this happened.  It was not reported to the BON. I only dealt with the monitoring program.

One thing I thought was hilarious was that the testing company offers monitoring outside of the monitoring program.. No I don't want to check in and test for fun. I don't know if they'd report you. I assume so.

Wow. Thanks. Also, you don't have to fool with the BON part of the equation so you are DONE DONE. Funny how they still try to sale you something and make money by "monitoring outside of monitoring" after your program is finished. Corrupt as heck.

Time for you to Celebrate with Poppy Seed Muffins, Heavy Laced Pure Vanilla Extract Rum based cake, and Bucket Loads of Soy Sauce on Chinese Food. And since you are not an alcoholic or addict, I would have a beer if I were you.

Congratulations! I'm sure this is a ginormous weight that has finally been lifted off your shoulders. What state were you in if you don't mind me asking?

May sound.crazy but I worry they read here. I don't want to give any information that could identify me.  I'll  say a 3 year state

They must report you to a monitoring agency I would guess if you test positive otherwise it wouldn't really help anyone stay sober.

For me the worst part was not being able to plan things because I may have had to test. A hair test or nail test every 3 months on a scheduled day with a peth test scheduled  monthly would have sufficed but less tests is less money.

Sadly I'll probably be bitter about this forever

Can you elaborate on that? Plan what things?

Activities after work like a doctor appointment.,dinner with friends . I wasn't going to wake up early every day to see if I should trst before work so I went after work if I had to test.

Okay got it. Thank you

Congrats.  It is no small feat. Wish you allll the best.

Thank you.  The only thing I got out of it was getting to keep my license which never should have been in jeopardy
