I actually did. I dont know if that is what you wanted to hear or not. I heard horror stories of people throwing up in the parking lot sure they failed only to find out they passed. I would be willing to bet that the majority of people feel uncertain. I was fortunate to be one of the lucky ones that were sure they passed.
I will admit though that when I first saw my name on the state web site with a lic number I did start shaking and got teary eyed.
I am sure you did just fine. Go outside and take a nice long walk today and try and get your mind off it ---I know easier said than done.
One thing I did when I came home and I dont know why I did it, I wrote down every single question I could remember and looked them all up.

Thank you so much for your reply
I took my test yesterday and checked the website and I passed. Totally unexpected. I have a license number woohoo lol
OMG I am so happy for you. After I made my post I actually tried to log back on an edit/change it, but too much time had lapsed. I felt terrible for you because here you are worried and I say "Oh I knew I passed"
I didnt want to come across as cocky by any means. I have just heard horror stories of people feeling so sick after the test and it really breaks my heart as statistically 85+% will pass 1st try.
I am so happy for you. Isnt it a wonderful feeling???? So proud.
Have a great weekend...Nurse.

Hey! First of all, congratulations! I am graduating in May and I basically have to pass it the first time in order to start my orientation on time. How did you study? Any pointers? I just took a mock NClex exam and, well, failed with a 64%...but so did all of us!..probably considering we haven't reviewed any old stuff with our crazy schedules. I am taking an NClex review course after graduation through Kaplan. I heard this helps. Any other pointers?
Thanks!!

In our last quarter, we had a NCLEX class that was required. I also bought the flash cards, and two review books. One was Mosby's and the other was NClex for dummies(even though it was for RN, I figured it could not hurt). Good luck with your test
64% is not a fail, it is a pass!!!. Nclex is a 51% test. You need to get more right than wrong.
There are many of good tips and pointers for passing Nclex on this site and the Nclex discussion site.
In my humble opinion the key is practicing as many Nclex style questions as possible. I did thousands in a 3 week span.
Best of luck...
Really? Wow I guess I shoulda researched that one a little more. I think as nursing students my friends and I are so used to having to pass every test with a 70% to pass every class. Thanks for the info!

After I took my NCLEX PN I was pretty sure I passed. I finished in under an hour with the minumum number of questions and figured no way did I do so bad that I wouldn't have at least had the chance to answer more questions. I don't allow myself to get sucked into all the drama. If I hadn't passed I would have been sad but I'd have shelled out a few more dollars and tried again. :)
