Ok so I'm interested in 3 community colleges. One I'm already accepted to the school (doing my prereqs. there) and I just need to submit my nursing application, which I'm waiting to do after I take the TEAS exam in Feb. However, the other two I'm confused about.
I've submitted all my college transcripts to the other 2 schools and have been accepted to the school but now the nursing application are asking for transcripts and medical records (vaccinations).
I'm wondering if anyone else had to submit their transcript twice as well as their medical records if you are already accepted to the college.
Shouldn't the nursing dept. have access to the admission documentation like transcript and medical records?

Just do it. Jump through whatever hoop they ask you to.

It is very common for the nursing department to ask for your transcripts separately from the college. I have had to send many transcripts to not only the college but the nursing department.

I had to send official transcripts to the school for admission as a transfer student and then submit unofficial transcripts with my nursing school application. Pretty normal to me. Haven't been asked for medical records but they will if I'm accepted into the program. They will want vaccination records, CPR certification, and a few other things that slip my mind at the monument.
