Sep 7, 201510 yr So me and my husband are on a trip, I'm the guide evidently. Being a nurse, my mind is programmed to think anatomical directions: example- I point right and say left identifying the anatomical side of the body. This makes him crazy- I say right, point left, and immediately yell OPPS LEFT.... Am I the only one!? I feel like it might be a nurse thing haha.Let me know, would love to hear your stories!!

Sep 7, 201510 yr Right vs left has always been tricky haha, I usually have to shake the hand I write with to confirm that direction is right. 😳I also do that thing where I position myself the same was as the patient lol
Sep 7, 201510 yr I lived in a country where I had to drive on the opposite side of the road than I initially learned. Ever since, I have to put myself in the same position as the patient, and still use the wrong term.
