Disease Management

Are there any resources for "Disease Management" or help with Complex Case Management? Where and how to get started?

I've recently talked with a company that wants someone to help with their employees with major health issues, not comp cases. They do not have a Case Manager to work with this.

    What you have decribed sounds like Occupational Health Nursing. OCC Health is not the same as Worker's Comp either. There is an entire forum dedicated to this subject:

    Well, neither of the cases (examples) they mentioned were not a Workman's Comp at all but employees that had a problem with very large claims, that didn't occur at work. I thought it sounded like they needed a Complex Case Manager...they were looking for a "Disease Manager" and I just don't think this is what they need...thanks for the reply
