Disappointed in myself :(

So I'm just a little over 1 1/2 months in my LPN and I was placed on academic probation for failing 2 test in A&P. I studied my ass off but i just wasnt as prepared as I thought. I've passed all of my other test and my first report card reflected my good grades with a GPA of 3.75.

I just feel like everything is spiraling out of control.

Feeling Blue,

I completely understand how you're feeling. I was so distraught when I went on academic probation. I only had 3 months left to graduate. Now I've been placed on a waiting list to get back in for the August 2014 classes. I have to do all of my 4th term clinicals over but I'll graduate in January of 2015. I felt defeated being so close but I've regrouped and hopefully that waiting list will have some grace on me. I planned to move to Houston after I graduate to find employment. My next plan is enroll at Chamberlain College of Nursing in May 2015 for the next 3 years to get my BSN. I CAN DO IT...YOU CAN DO IT. NEVER GIVE UP. WE'RE NURSING IN THE MAKING AND WE WILL SUCCEED. FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION. GOOD LUCK FUTURE NURSE.

you can come back from being on academic probation! first try to look back and why you think you failed and make a new plan so it won't happen again. good luck to you, if you want it bad enough you can do it!
