Digoxin Therapeutic Range

Published

Hello everyone,

I was wondering what the therapeutic range for Digoxin is. I'm seeing conflicting numbers everywhere. Some sources say 0.5-0.8 ng/mL. And some says 0.5-2 ng/mL. What is the range that nurses usually go by? I get that there would be some discrepancies with the numbers, but that's a huge discrepancy, especially for a drug that is extremely potent.

Therapeutic range is 0.5-2.0 ng/mL. The 0.5-0.8 ng/mL is the target range but up to 2.0 is considered acceptable.

Thank you so much for the clarification!
