difficulty passing NCLEX!!!!

hello everyone,

i recently join allnurses.com. i read a few articles and see that i'm not alone in this. it's frustrating and embarrassing that i took the test 3 times and still have not passed. i've been to 3 reviews and bought books on top of books. i hear the same crap from everyone and they think they're helping me but they're not. i already have anxiety and people asking me when i'm taking the test makes it worse and makes me not want to do this anymore. but deep down i know i'll make a great nurse..i'm a great nurse at heart, but i need those initials...rn!! please help me get through this. i'm losing hope. i can form an ocean with my tears:cry:

hi and welcome! the support here is unbelieveable!

i am sorry you were unsuccessful on your 1st attempt with the nclex. many of us have been following the random facts sticky at the top of the nclex discussion forum. i personally know it can be discouraging, but don't let it bring you down. keep preparing and studying hard, practice questions and read the rationales to all of the questions even if you get them right. try not to study from so many books and don't even waste your time or money on review classes. i have been using suzanne's plan (there is a sticky at the top where the random facts sticky is also) that explains in detail what the 1st part of her plan is. if you have time, please consider studying for the nclex that way. it has paid off for alot of people just like you and me.
