Livescan is fingerprints. You don't need to do a physical fingerprint card if you visit California and do Livescan there. The reason to do it there is it is far more efficient than sending fingerprint cards to CA DOJ. Some applications have taken over a year - just more steps and lower priority. It is not uncommon after months to discover physical cards have to be redone. Some agencies will actually pay for a return flight to California just for Livescan in Sacramento - which means you can also hand deliver your licensure by endorsement application directly to the BON.

Hi! just saw this thread and wanted to know if you contacted them about your status of your live scan. I also submitted mine a month ago right after Christmas and it still says pending for my fingerprints and I just passed my boards :,)

I applied for licensure by endorsement and also for a temporary license as well. I went to cali and did the Livescan 2 weeks ago. It said it could take 3 business days in order for the board to receive them. I checked online to see the progress and it still said "Pending Fingerprints" I'm not sure why. I tried to call the board and I keep getting hung up on after I click through to Licensure by endorsement and it says "The callback queue is full please call back at another date" Although I didn't even choose to get called back. I sent an email. Any idea how to get anyone on the phone with the California BON? Any help appreciated thanks in advanced.
