While readmitting a pt. back from the hospital, one Dr. wrote the pt. had "Cataracts" - probably caused from an impaction.

TOO FUNNY!!!!! AND TO THINK WE TAKE ORDERS FROM THESE IDIOTS!!!

I hope cataracts werent the reason for his admission. That would be the first admitted to the hospital for cataracts. Maybe they were going to throw in a free cleaning for the impaction as a bonus.....

Hmmm.

Now we've all had patients admitted for legitimate reasons that the insurance companies have questioned or refused to authorize. What do you bet that this one gets OK'd without question?;)

The pt. was re-admitted to the nursing home and he had cataracts listed as one of his routine diagnosis. The Dr. decided that he thought the pt. obtained them from being impacted.

Hmmm... All that pressure in the rectum did it? Maybe that's what causes, and forgive my lack of spelling, exophthalmus- the condition associated with a thyroid imbalance that causes the eyes to "bug out"
