Good morning everybody!

Fun2care, I just heard from one of the other schools I am applying to. They are saying I need to take another Chemistry class, because the umpteen Chem classes I am taking may not fit!

So right now I am also registered for an online allied health Chem class. It does not start until October. At least I've had it before so it won't be so bad (hopefully)!

I think so too, but I figure I better play nice.

My fiance is still not 100% positive we will be able to get back to Dallas in Jan, so I have to apply to this school as a "just in case" measure.

So much for my daughter's room. All the furniture is pulled out into the game room, and I didn't get to it yet.....maybe after my pin cushion treatment. lol

I can't believe it is almost time to start Fall!! It went by pretty fast. Hopefully October will come pretty fast too so we can get our results! :chuckle

Hope everyone is ready for the FALL..... only a few more days off. (I've enjoyed my 2 weeks vacation!)

Now I need to stop hiding behind my computer, wash the carpet in daughter's bedroom, then get ready to go. :behindpc:

No, we have a standup carpet cleaner....looks like an overgrown vacuum cleaner. lol

BTW, I've finished being a pin cushion....got HepB, Hep A, PPD, and I went ahead and got another MMR....just to be safe. :)

I am now officially a "well groomed, healthy appearing white female." ....My Dr. said so. :rotfl:

Now, come Friday I'll take my daughter to school, head to Irving to let the nurse look at my Tb results, then rush to El Centro. They close at noon!

I got my Chem books today ..... 4 BOOKS!!! 3 are in a package together, 1 is a workbook. OMG! All that for an 8 week class!!!!!!!

Hey Kiddo...did you read the course description on the books or just assume that you needed all four of them? My 1405 course listed 4 books....2 required and 2 "recommended". I looked at the recommended books and decided that my money would be better spent else where....perhaps on a case of wine or a tank of gas or 3.

Does your scholarship pay for all books too?

Mike, the scholarship pays for only required books, and I had to get them all. BUT....I opened up the package just now, 1 is the textbook, 1 is a "Solutions to exercises" book, 1 isn't a book at all, it's a "Mediapak". The book that was not packaged together looks like the lab manual.

We start 8/29, and our first test is 9/7.

I was going to take Nutrition 1322 through DCCCD online. I registered, but when I looked at the syllabus on e-campus I dropped it. It looked very interesting, but I just could not afford to buy the text, the videos, the video companion guide and the software! I could get the text on half.com, but the rest of the stuff I would have to buy through the school. Oh well. I'll just stick with my Chem class and my Pharmacology refresher class.

We are going to the storage shed on Sat. I will check on that Music book and CD for you.
