About 4 years ago, a former PT complained about the nursing home where i was working, that his wound vac treatments weren’t being done. There was an investigation with all his nurses, I was one of them, and now the DCA investigator wants to do an interview with me. I’m just curious as if I need to take a lawyer with me or just go on my own? Any advice appreciated!
This has been going on since my first LVN job and I can’t even believe it’s come to a full out investigation. I need this over but I need to make sure I’m doing the right thing to protect myself as well.

Sorry to hear this. I know you’re ready for this to be over but be rest assured that they don’t have your interest at heart.
Do not attempt to go in alone, contact and hire an attorney ASAP. All the best.

I would definitely bring an attorney with me. Best advice is to seek legal advice.
