Mar 18, 20197 yr Author I only had 30 this year-26 from ACT, a B is math & B in English. I’m taking anatomy now. I don’t expect to get in at all but figured it couldn’t hurt to apply. How about you? Have you heard anything about how we’re notified? The application said email, website says certified letter.
Mar 18, 20197 yr I'm waiting...when I submitted my application they said they are sending emails instead of certified letters this year....I'm so nervous!!!
Mar 18, 20197 yr Author That’s what I was told too, emails would be sent this week. I need to know which day though!!
Mar 18, 20197 yr I am sooo nervous I can't wait. I'm hoping we get acceptance emails by the end of the day!!!
Mar 19, 20197 yr Author Bad news...they haven’t even looked at applications yet! The department is meeting on April 4 to review them and decide. The coordinator wasn’t there, and the lady I spoke with didn’t know for sure when emails will go out, but she thinks it will be the following week, between April 8-12. Which is after early registration for summer so I don’t know what I’m going to do.
Mar 19, 20197 yr Wow!! That's BS! I mean they extended the application deadline for an extra 30days and when I spoke to the coordinator she said during those 30days they received less than 15 more apps. At that time why not take advantage and start sorting through the ones you have in order to meet the deadline. I really hope their nursing school isn't this messed up.
Mar 20, 20197 yr I'm waiting on a notification too! That's messed up that we have to wait even longer to know if we are in or not. I thought it wasn't fair that they extended the deadline in the first place because some people could not locate the application on the website. A simple call to the nursing coordinator would have led them in the right direction. But, that's just my rant. Now I have to wait longer.

And a whole month was just excessive in my opinion. How many points did you apply with?
Mar 20, 20197 yr Honestly, I don't recall because it's been so long ago that I dropped off my application, lol
Anyone else waiting to hear from Chattahoochee Valley CC next week?
