Cute Pre-K

Yesterday, my husband was picking up our daughter after am Pre-K. He was talking to her and one of her friends about whatever and the conversation came to an end. The little friend said "Well, it was nice to meet you" and stuck her hand out/up for a hand shake. I turned around and died laughing because it was hilarious and so stinking cute!

Love those little Pre-Kers!!

How sweet is that!

The littles are definitely my favorites :)

Kudos to those parents for teaching that kiddo manners and social skills!

That's the crazy part, I've never seen her parents or older brothers behave that politely!

I think some kids are just wired different. I have a family with 5 littles (one in each grade level here) and the littlest one is the most polite little guy in the word. NONE of the others are like that. Two of the older ones are frequent visitors of mine and I didn't even know they had a sibling in K until their mom mentioned him to me while picking up one of them.

I work primarily with PreK kiddos and they can be so adorable when they pull out super polite/grow up phrases.

I had this one happen:

[conditioning a 3/4 year old for hearing screening, practicing without the headphones on]

Me: You're doing great! Let's try it with the headphones on!

Kid: [hold hand up in a "stop" gesture] No, thank you. That is scary.
