Did you Google it? I got my answer to what it was right away. Once you see the picture of what the tub is, it's pretty clear how you would bathe someone.

Never called it that, but after I googled it, I rememberer that they used these in the ALF I worked at while in school. They are pretty straight forward. Put plug in, turn water on, pt in chair ( or take chair to pt and wheel them to tub room) lock chair in place, release wheel frame, apply safety belts, use foot pedals to go up, use arms to swing chair over water, use foot pedal to lower pt, bath pt, repeat steps in reverse order

I work at a children's home and we have several residents who get bathed in the century tub. In some places, it's just called a whirlpool bath.

Because most of our residents have CP or other conditions that leave them unable to walk or sit in a standard chair, ours has a lift that we put them on, similar to a sling. You lower the sling into the tub and bathe them. It has jets you can turn on - I find that most of them really enjoy this.

You just need to make sure that with the trachs, you don't get the water too high, and you have the seat/sling elevated enough to keep it dry. :)
