CSUSB Fall 2016

I realize it may be early, but I wanted to start a thread for the CSUSB Fall 2016 nursing program hopefuls. I'm sure we will all have a lot of questions about application deadlines, letters of recommendation, points, TEAS, etc. It will be nice to have a community where we can ask each other questions and offer advice. Eventually we can share stats, and we may even end up in the same cohort!

You should put Fontana on your nursing application, I think they will give you point too. I think people can move :D

Yeah I will! And no, no word on the main university's acceptance yet. Even that is driving me crazy. I hate waiting :sarcastic:

How many points do you guys have? This thread is so quiet. does that mean not too many people applying to CSUSB? :D

If you took 2 different chem classes, will the one with the higher grade be used? Both meet the requirement. I know they take the higher grade for the general ed classes.

Hopefully there are not a lot of guaranteed admissions this year.

I'm not sure if I'm calculating the TEAS point correctly. Does it just decrease 1 point from 15 every 2 percentage? so,

98-100 = 15

96-98 = 14 and so on.

Is that correct?

Anyway, I calculated it to 46/54. Hopefully this is enough and I can get in for the fall!

How about you?

and yes it is quiet, I hope that means there are fewer people applying too! :cat: doubtful, though. haha

yes, they told me they will always take the higher grade. Ohh, to be honest I hadn't even thought of guaranteed admissions. I hope there are not many either!

How does a person get guaranteed admission? :)

I'm confused about the TEAS points too. I think I have 45/54 points. I will start a list tomorrow, so we can all see where we stand! Let's post our stats guys! :)

I think it's those that start as freshman at CSUSB. It's not for transfer students sadly :D
