CSULB Nursing Program Fall 2023

Hey guys, did anyone else apply for CSU Fullerton too? I was wondering if your application status still said "Your application is currently pending an admission decision.  We need your transcript(s) to complete your admission evaluation" or was there an update to it? I know they also have an interview for the program so that's even more nerve-wracking!

No one else applied to Channel Islands right? I was wondering if they got back to anyone about interviews or if I just didn't qualify.

Does anyone know classic interview style questions they may ask? I saw on last years thread that people were surprised by the questions because they didn't expect them to be classic interview questions. I haven't done many interviews so I was wondering if anyone had some input

I had no idea that Fullerton did an interview as well! Do you know anything about that process? I feel like I didn't see that in last years' Fall transfer chat. Mine says the same thing. According to parchment, all of my transcripts were sent so I think I might call and ask what's going on. 

yeah, the interview with CSUF is definitely new. I (attempted) to apply to their program last fall, it was the only one I was eligible for at the time with in progress prereqs, but I had an issue with getting my archived AP scores in time. Last fall was their first time ever accepting upper division BSN transfers so I think they're still figuring out how to go about evaluating applicants.

I actually haven't even checked on what's going on with my CSUF application, and if we were supposed to send transcripts I may have accidentally disqualified myself again, LOL oops. Maybe they still have my stuff on file from last year.

I haven't heard back yet either about a specific time. All I know is the only date given to choose times was March 8th.

Same here! Same time

Just got my time and it's two weeks from today at 9 am also! 

Hey everyone! I'm currently a first semester student at CSULB and I was in the Spring 2023 thread. If you have any questions feel free to ask me! I remember how nervous I was before the communication exercise, but it's honestly not bad at all. Good luck to all of you!
