CSN fall 2016

Hello everybody! I was just curious if there are any other fellow classmates applying for the fall 2016 nursing program at college of southern Nevada? I am applying early (I'll be short 224 and com 101) but hoping to get picked early! Anybody else apply to csn early and get accepted? Looking forward to hearing from you all

We have one or 2 more weeks to go before it becomes reality. I wonder we could start signing up for fall classes if we get it in.

I heard we can't register for classes until the orientation and we pick out schedule there.

Your toolbox is for the summer correct?

yep in July from 10-11:30 (-=

RN program fall 2015 everyone got their call on the 20th of the following month after deadline. Spring 2016, everyone got their call on the 23rd of the following month from deadline. I'm really hoping this is a pattern because I want to know this week. How is everyone holding up?

They usually call the same time every year. However, last year they called us one week earlier than previous years, which was a nice surprise. In the previous years they called writhing the first few days of May.

One can hope....

I can't think about anything else until they call. I need to know already.

I know when I went through the CNA program. They offer a cheap insurance for students. You can also look at Medicaid. My husband just left the military and our insurance runs out in July as well, so it's Medicaid til he gets insurance with the career he's choosing nowm

I'm just not sure if we qualify for Medicaid because he made a lot last year but he's been laid off this year. Plus we have a 2 year old daughter. Why do they make insurance so expensive I asked my current provider Blue Cross how much it would be and they said 1600 a month for the three of us I almost choked. We're already going to be spending an arm and a leg for nursing school I'm hoping I can get the books for real cheap. I cannot wait to find out hopefully they called today.

Doesn't hurt to ask, the worse they can say is no, but I believe you qualify if he has been laid off.

I'm so excited for the call, I work night shift so I'm triple checking to make sure all my volumes are up high on my phone. Good luck to you!
