Would one bottle of beer over the weekend affect my drug screen?

Alcohol is a legal substance and it's not like you're abusing it so I really doubt it would be an issue. If you take a prescription drug though you may get a phone call from the drug screen company. I take prescription Adderall for ADD and it showed up as an amphetamine in my urine. Duh right? I didn't even think about it though!

Anywhoo, the company called me the next day and gave me several options to "prove" that I'm not a meth head. I gave them the phone number to my pharmacy and they were able to verify that the prescription was legit and written before the drug test. You can also have your doctor's office fax them something and a few other choices as well. Hope this helps!

I'm not a drinker at all and of all days I decided to drink, it had to be last Saturday (to celebrate getting into the RN program and spending time with friends I haven't seen in months and so I forgot about the drug screen)...and I did my drug screen yesterday. So far, nobody has called me about it yet so I'm really hoping I didn't just ruin my chances of getting into the RN program. I looked at the lab donor form this morning and it said ethyl alcohol as one of the tests so I called Quest and the Health Sciences department about it - I was told it may or may not show up.

This may or may not help - I was in the office today and there was an alternate there picking up an acceptance packet.

i think i have only 26 pts.... did you attend the orientation...i rmb there were 8 people who didnt show up..... and not al the alternates showed up either... i really hope there is still a spot!!!!!!!!!!! how many points you have? maybe we will try again for spring 2012.......

I have 26, but I'm expecting that they've only taken a few. You better believe that I'm getting my papers ready for Spring 12'. By June, I'll have 31 points and my application ready to be turned in.
