Credits needed MSN

Hi All!! I was just accepted into the MSN Leadership program and was wondering what the normal credit hours that are needed. My transcript was evaluated and I need 36..Does that seems right? If so how long does it usually take to complete that many?

Thanks so much for your help!!

I am doing the RN to MSN program. The whole program is 58 units. I think 33 units are MSN courses, but my count may be off. I have done 45 units so far; I just finished my first month of my second term. I have 13 to go until I finish my MSN.

The 36 credits are what is required, no more, no less. Look at the WGU website and you can see the breakdown on the required classes. You don't have any gen ed classes in the MSN to fluctuate the number thankfully.

I started in August and am halfway through the program but my goal is to be done in under two terms/one year because my employer will cover the entire cost unless I go over and then it's out of pocket (plus why waste time and just get it done!).

My MSN in leadership is 33 hours. So that's about right. I'm taking my sweet time, I don't mind dragging it out over a couple of years... I've got plenty of other things to do.
