CPNE

Anyone has passed CPNE in Lubbock I do not have a date yet but will be testing there in future.

Featured Replies

I tested there in May of 2013.

It is a great test site and the CA and CE's were very helpful when they could be. A few of them are former EC students, so they understand the stress of the CPNE. I actually had one of the CE's argue my case to the CA of some of my documentation. The CE had a question about something I had written and the CA read something else and questioned that but the CE explained why I documented what and why I did. Nice to see that after hearing some of the horror stories of others.

You will have a peds patient, so be aware of that.

I did not stay at the "recommended" hotel, I stayed at Hawthore Suites? that was about a mile from the hospital and maybe 2 miles where you do your skills (I drove from Houston to Lubbock). I got a deal on Priceline for like $45/night.

Any other questions let me know.

Biggest drawback of Lubbock is the long wait (at least 4 months, sometimes up to 8).

Where are you located? I am in Fort Hood, TX and starting FCCA in March, assuming I pass LS3. I could use a study buddy if you haven't tested by May... I plan to go to the first available place if I have to drive, fly or hitchhike-hahaha!
