CPI Cert?

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get my CPI certification? I searched online and there's only two options. One being $1400-$3000 (crisisprevention.com) and the other being $100 (crisisconsultantgroup.com) for an online cert (I don't even know if this is credible or accepted as an actual CPI cert ...

Why do you need CPI cert. If your employer wants it they should provide it to you. I have not heard of an online cert as you have a physical practice portion. I think the 1400-3000 option is to become an instructor.

CPI is mostly fluff and does little to teach you true crisis intervention. I much prefer MAB (Management of assaultive behavior).

Check with your employer

I also am wondering where to get CPI certification because the really expensive options are the only ones I've seen as well.

Like the OP, I suspect they have to pay for it because their agency requires it or it is required to pick up jobs in certain behavioral facilities (like the one I am looking into).

Was curious if anyone could point us/me in the right direction?
