Can anyone point me in the right direction to get my CPI certification? I searched online and there's only two options. Why do you need CPI cert. If your employer wants it they should provide it to you. I have not heard of an online cert as you have a physical practice portion. I think the 1400-3000 option is to become an instructor.
CPI is mostly fluff and does little to teach you true crisis intervention. I much prefer MAB (Management of assaultive behavior).
Check with your employer

I also am wondering where to get CPI certification because the really expensive options are the only ones I've seen as well.
Like the OP, I suspect they have to pay for it because their agency requires it or it is required to pick up jobs in certain behavioral facilities (like the one I am looking into).
Was curious if anyone could point us/me in the right direction?
