Oh honey, I hate to be harsh but no one can really answer these questions for you. I will tell you that I never gave a thought to these questions, and answered them impromptu during the actual interview. I was offered a job for every single interview I went to, except one. You have to have a good mix of honesty with just a touch of sucking up thrown in, KWIM? Tailor your answers to fit the job you are applying to.

I know everyone is different, but what worked for me was to just pretend I was having a normal conversation!:lol2:

Good luck, try not to stress. IMO your best bet is to make sure you have time to relax before your interview, and maybe spend some time reminding yourself of what a badass you are and how much you have to offer anybody who is lucky enough to hire you!

I agree. If we answer these questions you're going to get a whole bunch of different answers...none of which may be what YOU would answer when it comes to the interview. And we're not going on the interview, you are.

So take a few minutes to think about how you'd answer these questions. Be honest. Yes, suck up a touch but not to the point that you're making promises you can't keep or saying things that are totally against your beliefs. It's OK to admit that you don't know/not sure of a question answer, but stress to the interviewer that if you didn't know something that you would find it out (use other nurses as resources, look it up, etc.). If you're a new grad (and I'm guessing by your question choices you are), they don't expect you to know everything.

Write down your answers...and then start rehearsing your answers out loud--this is key. Don't stress over memorizing your answers word-for-word: the trick is not to sound scripted, but comfortable and relaxed. Practice will help you do just that...it did for me. So practice answering those questions and tweak/change your answers until you are comfortable.

Good luck!

I agree with the other posters. You need to answer these questions for yourself. If we answer for you, eventually, you'll forget what we wrote and tangle up on yourself. Only you know the answers for yourself, and you have to answer FOR yourself or you will come across as insincere...

Yes I guess it is a good sign...I will be there for 8 and a half hours though...I'm wondering what the heck I'll be asked or what this 2nd interview will entail.

yhan they asked me about how I dealt with a conflict of some kind with a co worker and how I handled it.

why i wanted to be a psych nurse.

during my experience as a nurse what did I do that I felt proud of?

not too many questions...things like that. :) Good luck
