Cost of BSN .............

Hi To Everyone,

I've been researching the cost of earning a BSN on line.

I'm trying to find the least expensive BSN college program.

Does anyone have information they can offer ?

So far, what I have found the cheapest price to be for a BSN

program online was $353. 00 per credit.

Any input would be greatly appriciated.

Enjoy the Sunshine :wink2:

Hi. Check out this thread here: https://allnurses.com/forums/f125/rn-bsn-online-105380.html Some people mention the costs in their programs.

The program I attend at Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences http://www.onlinenursing.fhchs.edu/ Recently raised their cost to $240.00/hr. If after you read the above thread you still have questions about this particular program please PM me and I'll be happy to answer them as best I can.

Good luck and congrats on looking into advancing your education. :)

Hi Terri! Welcome to the world of online RN to BSN!! There are lots of choices out there. I only have one word of advice for you.....look closely at the total cost for you to complete your degree. Just because tuition is only X amount of dollars at this program, you may be better off to go with a program that is slightly more expensive tuition/credit hour wise because you will have fewer requirements to complete.

Call and talk to admissions advisors....they can tell you how many of your existing credits will transfer into their program.

In my search, the cheapest tuition I could find was $280 per credit hour.

The catch was.....I had to take a BUNCH of nonsense classes to fulfill their degree requirements....total cost for cheap program....$25,000:uhoh3: !!

And I had to be online at least 4 out of 7 days per week for a minimum of 2 hours per day.

I went with a program that was more expensive tuition wise....I didn't have to take any gen ed classes, and I have to be online in the class chatroom once a week.

Tweety's program works for him....mine works for me. You just have to pick one that is going to work best for you.

Good luck in your search. You can PM me if you want any information about the program I am in or any of the many that I researched.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for the feedback regarding furthering education / tuition cost, etc...

I've been gathering the info relating to degrees / tuition / time, etc...

My heads is full at this point. No more room in me brain.

I need to defragment my hard drive heheheehe.

I'm going to take a look at what information I have gathered, narrow down my search to what I need / want from an online college than further my search.

I thank you for your input.

I have my headlights on and can better see any twist / turns so to speak.

I'm always open to any new input.................

Terri
