COS Fall 2022 ADN Program

Congrats to all that got in! I got a letter yesterday that says I’m an alternate for LVN-RN AP program. Does anyone know what it means that I don’t have an alternate number? I’m not sure if it just means I’m so far down the list that I don’t have a number? The nursing office couldn’t give me info since letters are still going out, but I’m just like what does that even mean though LOL.

id rather not say the exact number but I am one of the first up... I am praying some people deny their seats.

Hi everyone,

I was accepted as an alternate with no number so I figure I must be too far down the list. I'm assuming the competition was a little higher than last cohorts. I cant remember how many points I had but I think it was 75 ish. I also turned my application in at the very last minute so im sure that comes into play when they are comparing people with the same amount of points. Who knows tho ?

Hi Jesssakiii,

Are you an LVN-RN advanced placement candidate? If so, I think it’s a different pool.

@MikeJ the ones who were accepted have until April 20th to accept their seat. 

@scrublife15 I am doing tradition RN pathway so I should be in the same pool as others doing the same. 

@MikeJ True that. I guess well just have to sit tight and wait for things to settle.

@nurseAmy2 Do you know if there is an estimated graduation date for the LVN-RN program or a projected amount of days per week the program is? 

@Scrublife15 I was reviewing the courses for the fall, it begins August 15th and ends December 16th. And it looks like it is Monday - Wednesday or Thursday, I could be wrong but we will know more details on April 27th (Orientation). I could not find a graduation date in all of the researching I have been doing, but my guess would be fall of 2023 for the LVN to RN program since it is 3 semesters long.
