Congrats New Nurses!

Hello everyone,

Congrats to those of you who made it through! I am waiting to get into the nursing program and wanted to know what was the hardest part in nursing school. Anyone care to share their experiences? It would be helpful to have an idea of what to expect. Thanks

Good luck to you. Will keep my fingers crossed for you and let us know what they said. :)

Hmm, I would have to say that the hardest part of nursing school for me was probably mustering up the energy to keep up with all the reading. I didn't thing nursing school was hard, just very time-consuming! Best of luck to you. :) I've been an RN now for 4 months and feel pretty good about my abilities so far.

Without a doubt, my hardest part was juggling a fulltime job with fulltime school. I thought I would go out of my mind, many weeks I'd go a full 79 hours without sleep (due to 11-7 work, 7:45-2:00 class, then 2:30-10:30pm clinical... then repeat and partially repeat again, I had it down to the HOUR believe me, now 79 is my unlucky number!!!)
